The Russian Exhibition Building
This project has chosen to give less focus to the Russian exhibition building due to Russia withdrawing from the exhibition in the later stages of planning. The Swedish architect Ferdinand Boberg completed the design of the building with support from Russian consultants. Thanks to Boberg’s involvement, Russia remained represented at the Baltic Exhibition despite the Russian commissariat's withdrawal.
Ferdinand Boberg played a key role in preserving the Russian presence in the exhibition. Although official participation was withdrawn, his architectural efforts ensured a visual and cultural inclusion of Russia at the event (Christenson et al., 1989).
